I am Pharm. Nengi Lawson, and with a profound sense of purpose and a steadfast commitment to service, I hereby announce my candidacy for the esteemed position of Chairman, Association of Community Pharmacists of Nigeria (ACPN), Rivers State
For over 12 years, I have embraced pharmacy as more than a profession—it is my true vocation. My journey has been guided by an unwavering dedication to integrity, competence, and the relentless pursuit of excellence. From grassroots initiatives to serving at the national level, I have passionately advocated for community pharmacists, forging systems and structures that transcend individual roles and inspire collective advancement.
From my formative involvement with the Young Pharmacists’ Group to my role as Secretary of ACPN Rivers, my focus has consistently been on fortifying our profession and empowering our community.
I am proud to have played a pivotal role in drafting the landmark ACPN Rivers bye-laws and in the establishment of the inaugural PSN-YPG bye-laws—concrete evidence of my commitment to institutional growth and accountability. As I step forward once more, I bring a bold and actionable vision encapsulated in the acronym R.I.S.E

He is a forward-thinking pharmacist and public health professional with over a decade of unwavering dedication to the pharmacy profession in Nigeria. Armed with a Bachelor of Pharmacy from the University of Port Harcourt and dual Master’s degrees in Public Health (University of South Wales) and Business Administration specializing in Sustainability (Nexford University), Nengi brings a powerful fusion of clinical expertise and executive leadership to the table.
